Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore, is a premier institute for advanced scientific and technological research and education in India. Biological sciences research in IISc is highly diverse and of international repute, spread across in six departments and centres of the Division of Biological Sciences and in various interdisciplinary departments/centres/laboratories of sciences and engineering. In addition to the PhD, Integrated-PhD, MTech and MSc (Eng) programmes, IISc offers admission to its four-year Bachelor of Science (Research) programme, with opportunities for courses and research in biology.
