To commemorate the legacy of Dr. Subhash Mukhopadhyay, who is the co-inventor of the Nobel Prize winning invention of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) and the pioneer of frozen embryo transfer, this annual symposium is organized by first of its kind stem cell research centre in Eastern and North-Eatern India named after the maestro Subhash Mukhopadhyay Centre for Stem, Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine which embedded within Adamas University, Kolkata. This year they will be organizing the 3rd symposium of this series which will be held at Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, and is funded by European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) Germany. It is the only symposium that provides a platform dedicated to discuss Epigenetic Inheritance, Embryogenesis, Stem Cell and Germ Cell Biology. This year around 19 renowned overseas scientists who are the discoverers of the various aspects of these areas will be delivering talks in-person along with acclaimed scientists from India.
