Every year at the YIM, senior scientists (mentors) describe their own scientific journeys providing inspirational as well as amusing anecdotes about their experiences with establishing scientific careers. Watch videos of their talks here.
The annual Young Investigators' Meeting brings together an eclectic mix of India's best young life science researchers, post-doctoral fellows, renowned Indian and international scientists, representatives of various grant-funding agencies and science policy makers.
IndiaBioscience launched the 1st IndiaBioscience Outreach Grant (IOG) in 2020. We are presently in the fourth call cycle of the grant. Through this grant, we aim to build a community of independent researchers who are willing to take up outreach initiatives and collaborate with other communities (students, science communicators, artists, NGOs, and educators) towards the practice of science outreach.
This is an initiative to publicize some fun science communications and take interesting/funny/self-descriptive science near our audiences.

DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) is not a ‘one size fits all’ plan. While it is encouraging to observe DEI in science in India becoming a part of open and honest conversations, our narratives and depictions of DEI are largely driven by dominant global conversations. These narratives clearly do not completely capture the complexity of DEI in India, and therefore appear largely performative when put into practice. This infographic by IndiaBioscience aims to capture the essence of DEI in India, through vivid and thought-provoking illustrations and DEI statements.
Scientific progress is not above ethics. In the fast pace of scientific advancements, it is crucial to know where the ethical boundaries lie. This infographic highlights some of the key aspects of doing research ethically.
