Selected candidates will be expected to design and perform research experiments, analyse results and write reports and manuscripts. The projects are based on biomaterial-based drug delivery for treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases and the work will be carried out in Dr Rachit Agarwal’s Drug Delivery Laboratory (https://be.iisc.ac.in/~rachit/).

1 year and extendable based on performance.

As per Department of Biotechnology guidelines.

Applicants must have background in Engineering/​Biotechnology etc. and must have obtained an equivalent degree to B.Tech/M.Sc/M.Tech/MS.

Past experience with biomaterials, drug delivery, particles, mammalian cell culture, animal work is preferred. Qualification in a national entrance examination will be advantageous.
