Profile
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position (leading to PhD) in a DBT funded research project in the Biotechnology Department at Bennett University. Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of project-JRF in the research area of structural biology towards tuberculosis funded by DBT, Govt. Of India.
Project Description: Constructs generation, protein expression, characterization, crystallization and structural studies. Appropriate training and supervision specific to the project will be provided.
Duration
Five years (initially for six months, which is extendable further based on satisfactory performance and mutual interest).

Qualification
M.Sc. / M.Tech (or equivalent) in any branch of biological sciences, Biotechnology/B.Tech or M.Tech in Biotechnology with a minimum of 60% Marks or CGPA of 7.0 and above at a scale of 10.
Experience
Preferably having qualified CSIR-UGC NET or GATE or any other national level exam conducted by national agencies like DBT, DST, ICAR, ICMR, DAE, MHRD, DRDO, IIT, IISER etc with a valid score.
Research experience to generate constructs, express and purify protein is desired but not mandatory.
