IndiaBioscience is offering an internship in science journalism for new science writers. The internship will be remote in nature and will last for 3 months, beginning around 15 May 2019. The intern will be expected to write a minimum of 3 – 4 articles for IndiaBioscience, completion of which is mandatory for being eligible for a certificate. The intern will be given training in identifying good science stories, pitching ideas to editors, researching and reporting, conducting interviews, structuring and writing articles, self-editing, and preparing social leads.

3 months

Anyone who is interested in science communication and has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism or any science field can apply. Candidates with demonstrated interest in science writing, outreach or communication will be given preference.
