The Atal Incubation Centre-Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (AIC-CCMB), Hyderabad is hiring a Senior Science Communicator for its program, Centre for Predictive Human Model Systems (CPHMS)

AIC-CCMB are on the look-out for a dedicated science communicator who resonates with CPHMS’ outlook of communicating cutting-edge human-centric biology to diverse audiences. As our prospective team member, you will be responsible for curating and leading CPHMS’ sci comm initiatives that include;

• Periodic newsletters in varied formats
• CPHMS’ social media and outreach strategy with the aim of improving our reach and relatability to audiences
• Designing email campaigns using service provider platforms
• Developing a strong format of online capacity-building via webinars, podcasts, etc.
• Maintaining and further developing CPHMS’ Microphysiological Systems Database
• Assisting day-to-day activities of CPHMS and AIC-CCMB

The opportunity to lead and manage initiatives independently and grow professionally

• A full-time, 1‑year contractual position in Hyderabad at AIC-CCMB. Please note the position is not remote. It is extendable based on excellent performance

Reports to Chief Manager, CPHMS

The team: Small team of four, with backgrounds in biology and science communication (sci comm).

Salaries are competitive and commensurate with experience.

Masters in life sciences with 

2 years of work experience in sci comm.

• Are willing to grasp new scientific concepts, enthusiastic about leading new initiatives and have a strong commitment to meeting deadlines
• Have an excellent command of English and an interest in public speaking
• Are willing to travel across the country for CPHMS initiatives
• Knowledge of Canva and videography/​video editing skills would be an asset
