Applications are invited for the Research Associate positions of a collaborative project of Velux Stiftung, Switzerland, entitled, ​“Structure-function analysis of antimicrobial peptides to treat fungal ocular infections” between laboratories in India and Germany.

PhD in Chemistry/​Biotechnology to study the mode of action of antifungal peptides against fungal membrane/​membrane mimics using a plethora of spectroscopic techniques, focusing on 3D structure determination using solution- and solid-state NMR spectroscopy.

Candidates with knowledge and extensive experience in molecular biology (cloning and expression) and biophysical techniques including NMR spectroscopy will get preference.
