Profile

Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate – I at Raiganj University, Uttar Dinajpur West Bengal.

Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Soumita Podder, Assistant Professor, Dept. Microbiology, Raiganj University

Selected candidate may be permitted to register for the Ph.D programme of Raiganj University, subject to fulfilment of the requirements.

Age limit: Upper age limit 35 years (as per norms)

Funding Agency: Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India

Duration

One year (may be extended to another two years, depending on the performance of the candidate, the post is purely temporary and subject to the availability of annual funds)

Money

(i) Rs. 31000 + 8%HRA for candidate qualified NET/GATE of any national level examination conducted by central Govt./ agencies.

(ii) Rs. 25000 + 8% HRA for other who do not fall under (i) above.

As per Govt. order SR/S9/Z‑05/2019, dated 10/07/2020

Qualification

M.Sc. degree or equivalent in any branch of Biological Science from a recognized university

Experience

Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in computational biology and knowledge in languages- Python, R.
