Applications for lecture courses must cover a topic from the life sciences. Scientists from anywhere in the world are eligible to apply, independent of their nationality. Lecture courses must take place in India.
The scientific organizing committee must be geographically diverse and come from more than one institute representing the topics covered in the meeting. At least one of the organizers must be based outside India.
Applications must meet the following criteria to be accepted:
- Applications for lecture courses must cover a topic from the life sciences.
- Scientists from anywhere in the world are eligible to apply, independent of their nationality.
- Lecture courses must take place in India.
- The scientific organizing committee must be geographically diverse and come from more than one institute representing the topics covered in the meeting. At least one of the organizers must be based outside India.
To Apply
Applications to organize an India | EMBO Lecture Course are accepted via the EMBO online system. Application deadline is 1 March and August; selections for funding are to be made by the EMBO Course Committee in September/October.
Applicants are asked to complete an online application form and an offline application form. All details about benefits, eligibility, application, and selection can be found here.
Organizers are advised to contact the EMBO office to discuss their proposal before the application deadline, especially if they are applying for an India | EMBO Lecture Course for the first time: courses_workshops@embo.org
Applications to fund events in the same calendar year will not be considered.
