Profile

The TWAS – M.S. Swaminathan Achievement Grant in Food Science recognises an outstanding scientist or professional from a developing country whose work advances food research, nutrition security, food systems or climate resilience. The annual award provides USD 25,000 and participation in an award ceremony in India. Applicants must be under 50, have lived and worked in a developing country for at least five years, and submit evidence of scientific achievement together with a forward-looking project for strengthening food-science research in developing countries.
