Charu Dogra Rawat is an Assistant Professor at Ramjas College, University of Delhi (DU), Delhi, India.
She has a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from the University of Delhi and did her postdoctoral research in muscle physiology in California, USA before joining DU. She received the Universitas21 faculty training fellowship to do MS in Bioinformatics from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, UK. She also received advanced training in digital literacy at Edinburgh College, Scotland under the D-LITE (Digital Literacy and Innovation for Tomorrow's Education) project of UKIERI (UK and India Education Research Initiative). She is an avid user and an expert trainer of ‘Research-Based Pedagogical Tools’ developed by CoeSME, IISER, Pune. She has contributed immensely to the e-contents at the UGC-IUAC and CEC (Consortium for Educational Communication). She heads the Molecular Biology and Genomics Research Laboratory at Ramjas College and encourages and guides students to pursue scientific research.
