The FOC helps head facilities with smooth running of facilities in these specific areas:

  • Ensuring that user fees are calculated, and collected in a timely manner.
  • Generating database on facility expenditure, and user fees in coordination with accounts team.
  • Responding to external queries and requests for facilities services.
  • Generating proforma invoice and GST invoice for external facility users
  • Coordinate with accounts team to ensure that external user fees is collected.
  • Address external user issues by coordinating with Facility Managers.

Age limit: 28 years as of 01.01.2024 (subject to relaxation as per GoI norms)

Duration

The appointment will be a fixed-term position initially for one (1) year and renewable annually subject to the outcome of a performance assessment. The position comes with consolidated pay based on qualification and experience, subject to institutional guidelines.

Money

Salary will commensurate with experience and qualification

Qualification

B.Sc/B.Com from a recognized University/​Institute with a minimum of 60% of marks in aggregate or M.Sc/M.Com from a recognized University/​Institute with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate.

Experience

2 years of experience in the relevant field (mentioned under Job Description)

Desirable: NCBS is looking for candidates with strong communication skills, attention to details, and very strong organizational skills. In addition, financial acumen and some experience in invoice management will be very useful. They are looking for candidates who take initiative, are collaborative and possess problem solving skills. Working Experience in a research/​science/​engineering institute or unit of a reputed govt institute and possessing Master’s Degree in Life Sciences will be highly preferred.
