We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in the area of Theoretical/​Computational Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry under a research project funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT) at the Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal. The candidate will have possibility to join our PhD program.

Three years. First two years as JRF/​Project Assistant and third year as SRF/​Project Assistant 

Rs. 25,000/-p.m. + HRA (Candidates without NET/GATE qualification may be considered for a reduced salary of 12,000/-p.m. + HRA as per DBT rule)

MSc (MTech or equivalent) in Chemistry (preferably with physical chemistry specialization) or Physics or Biophysics or Bio-mathematics. For details of eligibility visit our website. 

Candidates with computational chemistry/​physics experience, and sound knowledge in computer programing (C/C++/Fortran, Python, Perl etc.) will be preferred. Further, exposure to computer simulations (such as Molecular Dynamics, Monte Carlo methods) will be preferred.
