Applications are invited from interested candidates for the Ph.D. program at the National Institute of Immunology (NII). NII is an autonomous research institution of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. The institute conducts cutting-edge research encompassing broad interdisciplinary areas in Immunology, Infectious and Chronic Disease Biology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Chemical Biology, Structural Biology, and Computational Biology.
Selection of candidates for the Ph.D. program at NII will be based on a computer-based entrance examination followed by online interviews of shortlisted applicants.
Qualification
M.Sc. or equivalent in any branch of science, M.Tech., MBBS, M.Pharm., or equivalent qualification recognized by JNU, New Delhi.

Interested candidates can visit the NII website (www.nii.res.in) to check the eligibility requirements and submit their applications through the “NII Online Application Portal”. The online application portal will be active from 22 August 2023 to 22 September 2023 for the submission of applications. The online application fee is 1200 INR for GENERAL/OBC(NCL) category candidates and 600 INR for SC/ST/PwD/EWS category candidates.
