Applications are invited from eligible candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position for the DBT-funded research project.
This project is in collaboration with Dr. Nandakumar DN (NIMHANS, Bengaluru) and the candidate will have significant interaction with the team at NIMHANS.

Money
- Rs. 31,000/- per month + HRA 8 % = Rs. 33,480/- for 2 years
- Rs. 35,000/- per month + HRA 8 % = Rs. 37,800/- for 1 year
Qualification
- M.Sc or M.S. in Molecular Biology / Cell Biology / Biotechnology, Biochemistry with minimum of 60 % marks (or) M.E. / M.Tech / M.S. in Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering with minimum of 60% marks (or) B.E. / B.Tech in Biotechnology / Chemical Engineering with minimum of 60 % marks and an additional 2 years of research experience in biotechnology-related areas.
- Qualified National Level examination including BET / NET / GATE or equivalent conducted by central government agencies (DST, DBT, ICMR, UGC, CSIR, etc).
Experience
Desirable: Experience in molecular/cell biology, mammalian cell culture, biomedical research. Knowledge in cancer biology/immunology/stem cell biology/nano-biotechnology.
