Applications are invited for the one post of ​“Raja Jwala Prasad Post-Doctoral Fellowship (RJP-PDF)” in the Department of Biochemistry, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. 

Age: 45 years (5 years relaxation for female SC/ ST/​physically handicapped candidate and 3 years for OBC candidate)

This fellowship is initially sanctioned for the duration of 12 months under the Institute of Eminence (IoE) scheme.

Rs. 60,000/-m. + HRA (Rs. 10,000/-) and Contingency of Rs. 50,000/- per year

Ph.D. in Zoology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology/​Bioinformatics/​Microbiology/​Life Sciences from Indian University/​Institute with NIRF ranking of up to 20 or those who have done PhD from abroad.

The candidate must have at least two original research publications in Q1 or Q2 journals or SCOPUS / Web of Science listed journals.

Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates having research experience in the infectious diseases, especially in human immunology/​entomology / diagnostic development
