Bioresource and Sustainable livelihoods in North East India – Subproject 13: Quantitative assessment and mapping of the diversity of non-flowering plants (Diatoms) of Northeast India’




Rs.25,000/- (fixed) per month


Essential: 1st Class M.Sc. in Environmental Science, Botany, Microbiology or similar subjects.

Desirable: i) Previous working experience in diatoms taxonomy and ecology and/​or previous exposure to North East Indian landscapes.

ii) Qualified GATE or CSIR-UGC JRF/NET

3. The prescribed essential qualifications are bare minimum and mere possession of same will not entitle the candidate to be called for interview. The Institute reserves the right to select the suitable candidate

4. In case of deserving and exceptionally qualified candidates, desirable qualification are relaxed at the discretion of the Competent Authority
