Establishment and Pre-Clinical Evaluation of a Replication-Deficient Non-Human Adenovirus-Based Vaccine Platform Using Chandipura Virus Glycoprotein as Prototype Antigen

Applications are invited for the post of Project Scientist‑I at ICMR-National Institute of Virology, Pune.

Maximum Age Limit 35 years
Duration
3 years (initially for a period of 1 year, and extendable thereafter, based on performance)
Money
Rs.56000 + HRA as admissible
Qualification
Post Graduate Degree in Virology/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Molecular Biology or other relevant disciplines (including Integrated PG degree) from a recognized University.
Experience
Desirable:
- PhD degree in any of the subjects mentioned above.
- At least 1 – 3 years of research experience after post-graduate degree in virology, vaccine development and recombinant DNA technology.
- Prior documented experience in generation of recombinant virus vectors, especially adenoviral vectors.
- Competency in bioinformatics, including sequence and plasmid map analysis, primer/probe design, and use of common databases/software.
- Familiarity with laboratory QA/QC systems, data analysis and scientific writing.
