Cell migration is a fundamental aspect of all biological processes, ranging from normal organ development to wound healing and cancer. Understanding cell migration means understanding the physical and mechanical aspects of the phenomenon, which closely integrates biophysical and mathematical perspectives. Recognizing this, the focus of this conference is to integrate advances in the quantitative study of cell migration, with a view to understand important concepts related to the field, evaluate recent contributions and explore new directions.
