Profile
WWF-India, one of the largest conservation organizations, engaged in wildlife and nature conservation in the country, invites applications for Programme Officer-Marine under its TRAFFIC-India Division, from candidates with an inherent sensitivity towards the conservation of nature and environment.
TRAFFIC, the wildlife trade-monitoring network, works to ensure that trade in wild animals and plants is not a threat to the conservation of nature. It actively monitors and investigates wildlife trade and provides information to diverse audiences worldwide as a basis for effective conservation policies and programs. In India, TRAFFIC a wildlife trade-monitoring network, operates as a division of WWF India.
Qualification
Qualifications & Experience
- A Graduate/Master’s degree holder preference will be given for candidates who have worked in this sector having a track record of publication relevant to the need of this program.
- Willingness to travel.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
Experience
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in program development and implementation in the marine sector.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience with statistical programs for forecasting and viability analysis.
