Symbiosis Center for Medical Image Analysis (SCMIA), Pune, India, invites applications for two faculty positions (national or foreign nationals) with an established research track record (preferably at the Associate Professor level) in the area of computational/medical image analysis. The Center is one of it’s kind in India and is a joint collaboration between Symbiosis Institute of Technology (an engineering institute) and Symbiosis Hospital (set to open in 2018), with access to MRI, CT, and other imaging facilities.
The successful candidate must be highly motivated and able to solve clinical image analysis problems that may entail functional neuroimaging (fMRI), MEG/EEG signal analysis, breast/cardiac/abdomen/spine imaging and analysis. The responsibilities include writing technical proposals, guiding Masters and PhD students, creating collaborations and writing research papers in high impact outlets. The position requires the candidate to work in a multidisciplinary environment involving radiologists, bio-statisticians, and other clinicians.
