The Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Biotechnology (PGDIB) programme is intended to prepare personnel for immediate employment in the biotechnology industry. This program will train the students on various industry-oriented courses to equip them with the necessary know-how and do-how aspects of production, testing, licensing, packaging and release of biotech and biopharmaceutical products. This programme aims to make the students industry-ready thereby bridging the gap between industry and academia.

The minimum qualification for admission to the RCB PGDIB shall be a Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or Medicine or an equivalent degree with the minimum of 50% marks.

Candidates with additional qualifications and a strong interest in the subject may also apply.
