Jivanu Therapeutics Pvt Ltd is looking for a detail-oriented Research Assistant to support the processing of stool samples, FMT capsule preparation, and quality control testing for clinical studies. The role involves DNA extraction, qPCR, CFU counts, microbial plating, and strict documentation under biosafety and GMP-like conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle, label, and process human stool samples for FMT.
• Assist in FMT capsule formulation, encapsulation, and storage.
• Perform microbial CFU counts, and sterility testing.
• Extract DNA and run qPCR.
• Maintain detailed records, SOPs, and QC documentation.

Positions:2

Master’s in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related fields.

Minimum 1 year experience in:

• Human sample processing, DNA extraction, PCR/​qPCR.
• Microbial culturing and plating.
• Working under biosafety protocols and SOPs.

Preferred

• Knowledge of GMP/FMT protocols and microbial metagenomics.
• Precision and consistency in lab procedures and documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently execute SOPs and maintain strict quality standards.
• Excellent record-keeping, time management, and communication.
