Applications are invited for the post of Project Assistant in the Department of Radiation Oncology, Christian Medical College, Vellore. The Radiation Oncology imaging lab uses radiological image descriptors (Radiomics) to investigate their role in predicting disease outcome in cancer.

The position is purely temporary, initially the selection will be made for one year with a 3‑month probation and will be extendable yearly based on performance of the candidate to the maximum duration of 4 years. Selected candidate can register for Ph.D, subject to fulfilment of the requirements of the University.

Project Assistant will be paid a stipend based on experience and will be employed under the project as per existing rules at Christian Medical College, Vellore. 

M.Sc. in any discipline of Sciences / B.Tech with minimum 65% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University. Programming skills mandatory — preferably Python

• Excellent communication skills both in verbal and writing in English.
• Be able to organize your own work with minimal supervision and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  
• Experience in image processing or data science will be highly considered.
