The project explores the ligand-selective conformational dynamics of serotonin1A and the role of cholesterol on its regulation using GPU-enabled high-performance computing, Markov state Modelling and free energy simulations.

Approx. 3 years. Initial appointment for 1 year; extendable depending on satisfactory yearly performance

Consolidated amount of Rs. 43,400 per month (including all the allowances)

Master of Science/​Technology degree in Biotechnology/​Biophysics/​Biochemistry/​Physical Chemistry with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from any recognized University. 

• Two-year research experience in research and development in Industrial and Academic institutions. 
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Biomolecular simulation, Free energy calculations and Markov state Modelling. 
• Applicants with GATE/UGC-CSIR NET (JRF/LS) /DBT-JRF score will be preferred.
