Ipsa Jain is a scientist turned illustrator. She uses visual media to communicate science. Her latest project is a fully illustrated science book with Minhaj Sirajuddin. This book shares the story of animal coloration.

This book takes inspiration from scientific literature and hopes to inspire curiosity about the natural world for young and young-at-heart alike. The books run like a conversation among three lab instruments, sharing their knowledge and perspective.

The book shares stories about three intersecting animals across scale, across the silos of the subject. You can get yourself a copy of the book from here - https://notionpress.com/read/a...

Ipsa also makes zines and other images in pursuit of invoking curiosity, sharing the joys of science, and spreading beauty. More about her work can be found here: www.ipsawonders.com
