Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Department of Biotechnology-Wellcome India Alliance sponsored project under the Principal Investigator, Dr. Geetanjali Chawla, Department of Life Sciences (DLS), School of Natural Sciences, Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence (SNIoE), Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, 201314 (U.P.).

The position is temporary and is available immediately.

The duration of the contract shall be until December 31^st, 2023, to be extended based on fund availability as well as satisfactory assessment of progress.

Rs. 31,000/- pm + 8% HRA (as per DBT norms).

Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with any National level Test (NET, GATE) qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with National Level Test qualification or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.

Desirable: Candidates with hands-on experience in advanced RNA biology techniques and/​or Drosophila genetics will be given preference.
