Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in an ICMR funded Ad-hoc research project in the Laboratory of Dr. S Asha Nair at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

AGE: Below 28 years as on May 31, 2023 . Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.

Initially for a period of one year and extendable upto two more years or till termination of the project whichever is earlier based on performance evaluation on yearly basis.

₹31,000/- + 16% HRA.

The candidate must have an MSc/B.Tech in Life Sciences and should have qualified NET with demonstrable understanding of basic molecular biology. 

The candidate must have prior experience in animal cell culture and must have a keen interest in cancer research, willing to learn quickly and with good organizational and inter –personal skills.

4. If a candidate wishes to apply for different positions, separate applications should be submitted for each position. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.
