Profile
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in a DBT funded research project entitled“Endocytic modulation of Bmp signalling: deciphering mechanistic insights into health and disease” under the supervision of Dr. P K Umasankar at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
Duration
3 years or till termination of the project, whichever is earlier. The initial appointment will be given for two years and further extension will be based on the performance.
Money
25,000 + 20% HRA per month for M.Sc. Degree holders who have qualified at NET/GATE (with valid certificate) or Post Graduates in Professional Degree course qualified candidates. M.Sc. degree holders who do not have NET/GATE certification will be eligible for 12,000/- +20% HRA per month.
Qualification
Candidates with a Master’s Degree in Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry are eligible to apply. Applicants should have consistently good academic record with a minimum of 70% marks. The candidates with M.Tech Degree are also eligible to apply.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualification in National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET/ICMR/DBT or equivalent/GATE).
Experience
Experience in working with cell biology, molecular biology and biochemical techniques.
