Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Life Science of the Institute.

03 years (based on the performance) OR completion of the project, whichever is earlier

Rs.31,000/- P.M. for 1^st and 2^nd year; Rs. 35,000/- for 3^rd year

Essential Qualifications and experience:- M.Sc. in Life Science/​Microbiology/​Biochemistry/​Biotechnology/​Botany/​Zoology/​Genetics/​Env Sci or related subjects with 60% of marks or 6.50 CGPA in 10 point scale with GATE or NET of UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DBT/ICAR (Lectureship/​JRF) candidates OR M.Tech. in Biotechnology/​Env. Engg/​Chemical Engg.

Desirable Qualifications/​Experiences:-Research experience or knowledge in environmental microbiology and microbial genomics and proteomics will be preferred.

Mere possession of minimum qualification does not guarantee invitation to the interview. Candidates will be short listed based on merit and need of the project.
