Profile
Applications are invited from interested candidates for the post of “Junior Research Fellow (JRF)” for the DBT project.
The selected candidate has to carry out cutting edge research in computational biophysics using multi-disciplinary approaches. The student will also pursue Ph.D at NIT Rourkela on a topic related to the project work.

Duration
03 years (2024−2027)
Money
Rs.31,000 p.m. (consolidated) for first two years; Rs.35,000 p.m. (consolidated) third year.
Qualification
NET/ GATE qualified with M. Sc. in Physics, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA. Exceptionally good candidates appearing for final semester M.Sc. examination in the above-mentioned disciplines may also apply. However, such candidates have to produce NET/GATE qualification certificates within one year for admission into the Ph.D program.
Experience
Desirable qualifications: First division throughout career is preferred. Experience in working in computational projects and familiarity with programming languages such as c+ +/FORTRAN/Python is desirable.
