Internship under the Skill Building” vertical

Profile

The iGAP or International Grants Awareness Program was envisioned to improve the quality and quantity of applications from India to international funding opportunities. It aims to do so by education, equipping and inspiring the Indian life science community. We are looking for an intern in the Skill Building’ vertical at IndiaBioscience for the period of 3 months. This is a full-time, paid position intended to assist the iGAP program at IndiaBioscience. 

The responsibilities of the role will be setting up virtual meetings, designing posters, and assisting in webinars and podcasts for iGAP. The ideal candidate should have good communication and writing skills, ability to grasp details and meet deadlines, and work in a team. An understanding of grants and the grant application process, international funding agencies and ability to work with multiple teams at a time will be very beneficial. 

The role will allow interns to hone their management and communication skills, provide opportunities to interact and connect with people from international funding agencies and enjoy working with the IndiaBioscience team. 

Duration

3 months (extendable as required for up to 3 months) STARTING JUNE 15, 2023. This position is open to both in person and remote internships.

Money

A consolidated stipend (INR 30,000/month) will be paid for the duration of the internship.

Qualification

The candidate will need a Master’s degree in any field of life sciences.
