We are looking for ONE intern in the ​‘Networking and Mentorship’ vertical at IndiaBioscience for the period of 3 months. This is a part-time, paid position. 

Responsibilities will include building an e‑compendium on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion of relevance to the broader life science community in India.

Specific tasks over 3 months will be:

1. Building a plan for the table of contents 

2. Contacting and inviting writers

3. Sourcing existing articles for republication from the IBS website 

4. Getting a designer-ready file ready for the graphic designer

The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, good communication skills, a keen interest in communicating science, good organisational capabilities and ability to work in a team. Experience or keen interest in promoting DEI in the science ecosystem in India will be given additional weightage. 

3 months (extendable as required for up to 3 months) STARTING 01 May 2024. This position is open to both in person and remote internships.

A consolidated stipend (INR 15,000/month) will be paid for the duration of the part-time internship.

The candidate will need a Master’s degree in any field of life sciences.
