Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals to join in the following position.

Rs. 22,000/-P.M, (Consolidated)

Candidates must hold a M.Sc. degree with first class in Biotechnology, biological sciences or allied subjects with at least two years research experience in microbiology,
genomics and molecular biology. The project involves reconstruction of metabolic pathways inbacteria capable of degrading Bisphenol A and Benzyl butyl phthalate compounds.

Initial appointment will be for one year, extendable up to three years or until termination of the project whichever is earlier. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The decision of the Director regarding selection of candidates will be final and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
