Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India invites applications from Indian Nationals for the appointment of the Junior Research Fellow position.

Age Limit: The candidate should be below 28 years in age, as on 14-03-2024. An age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India rules.

Rs. 31,000/- + HRA

Candidates having M.Sc. or an equivalent qualification in Life Sciences or related subjects (Biotechnology/​Biochemistry /​Genetics/​Microbiology/​Bioinformatics) with a minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade point (relaxation will be as per Govt. guideline) are eligible to apply.

Candidates should have qualified national level exam such as NET/LS-NET/GATE/GPAT/BET.

Candidates with knowledge and experience in genetics or bioinformatics or cell culture or molecular biology techniques will be given preference.

Incomplete applications and applications without the mentioned documents will be rejected. The appointment will be for one year or until the end of the project.

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The decision of the Director regarding the selection of candidates will be final and no further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
