Applications are invited for the post of a Research Associate in this ongoing DBT-funded research project under Dr. Dileep Vasudevan, DBT — Institute of Life Sciences, Bhubaneswar

The candidate will initially be appointed for 1 year which can be later extended based on performance and is co terminus with the project duration

A fellowship amount of Rs. 47,000/- per month + @16% HRA for a candidate with PhD degree

PhD (Biotechnology, Life Sciences or an allied subject) with first-author publications. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are waiting for defense/​viva voce may also apply. But for such candidates, the fellowship amount will be that of an SRF until he/​she defends the thesis.

An ideal candidate will be competent in biophysical characterization of macromolecules and protein crystallography, as required for the ongoing projects. Experience working with an in-house X‑ray diffractometer and/​or analytical ultra-centrifuge will be advantageous for this position.
