The Department of Biotechnology (DBT) seeks to provide a unique opportunity for Young Professionals to work and get exposure to various programmes and activities of the Department. These programmes require candidates to demonstrate proven academic, credentials, professional achievement and leadership qualities.

DBT is looking for young, talented, innovative and dynamic Young Professionals, persons with a passion for development and the potential to become future leaders in their respective fields. 

Young Professionals will be required to provide high quality inputs in the specific areas of responsibility assigned by the Division Head. This includes collection, compilation, tabulation and dissemination of various information related to ongoing Research projects, SocioEconomic Impact Analysis of Research projects, providing administrative support for project related work and organize meeting/​workshops.

Age limit: Candidates should be below 35 years of age as on the date of Advertisement.

For a period of 02 years which can be extended up to 5 years — one year at a time

Rs 40,000/- (Fixed) (inclusive of Taxes)

M.Sc. in Biotechnology/​Biochemistry/​Microbiology /​Bioinformatics/​Botany/​Zoology or B.Tech Biotechnology.

Minimum one year experience in assisting administrative/​scientific project work/​relevant field.
