This project aims to understand:
i. The participation of gp130 as a dual role-player at the same time to cause inhibition to the leukemic cells and aid in blood platelet recovery after thrombocytopenia.
ii. Thus through this analysis we can explore into the molecular mechanism for gp130 for platelet recovery after thrombocytopenia induced chemotherapy.
iii. Mutational impact on the associated proteins, which would hamper the interaction.
iv. To analyze the novel inhibitors for gp130 signaling. Using this mechanism, we shall attempt to screen other associated drugs based upon the structure of gp130
