Profile
Refine and develop biopolymers and biomaterials. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing the strength, flexibility, and appearance of these materials, shaping a future where sustainable alternatives rival conventional options in both performance and aesthetics.
Break new ground in the realm of biomaterial post-processing, develop innovative techniques and methodologies to refine and improve the chemical & mechanical properties of biomaterials, ensuring their versatility and applicability across a wide range of industries.
Formulation and standardization of different types of organic solutions used for biomaterial processing.
Identify & develop novel biopolymers of compounds and additives, expanding the possibilities for sustainable solutions
Develop technology in the area of post-processing of biomaterials
Qualification
M.Sc. / M. Tech. / Ph.D. in material science, textile engineering, textile science, leather technology, polymer chemistry, organic chemistry or materials science or related field.
Experience
- 3 – 5 years of research experience in academic or industry settings working on bio-fabrication.
- Should have prior exposure to post-processing of biomaterial.
- Strong knowledge of the structure-function relationships, performance, and interactions of various biopolymer ingredients.
- Ability to interpret test results and turn them into next steps.
- Demonstrated ability to work with highly skilled teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and technical environment.
