Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in an Indo-German project sponsored by Indo-German Science and Technology Centre (DST- IGSTC), purely on a temporary basis. 

Appointment as JRF for a period of one year or project termination whichever earlier (subject to the satisfactory performance).

JRF (1^st& 2^nd year): 31,000/-pm+ HRA from 3^rd year 35,000/- pm+ HR (As per norms of funding agency)

Post Graduate Degree in any discipline of Life Sciences/​Biotechnology/​Microbiology/​Molecular Biology/​Infectious diseases with at least 60% marks (or equivalent)

Relevant Research experience in the field of molecular biology and microbiology as well as handling of BSL‑2 pathogens, mammalian cells and/​NET/ GATE qualifications.

Candidates fulfilling the requirements must essentially bring: 

• The CV mentions: full details of academic qualifications, research experiences, telephone/​mobile number, e‑mail address, names and contact details of references familiar with the candidate’s qualifications and achievements, etc. 
• attested copies as well as original copies of relevant documents and 
• passport-size photograph at the time of the interview.

Date & Venue of walk-in ‑interview: The tentative date is 12^th January, 2024 (reporting time: upto 11 am) at the Department of Microbiology, Academic Block‑1, Central University of Haryana, Jant-Pali, Mahendergarh, Haryana-123031

1. The Junior Research Fellow post is purely temporary for sanctioned project and duration. 
2. No T.A/D.A or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interview. 
3. The fellowship may be cancelled at any time in case of any misconduct, unsatisfactory research work, or if the fellow is found ineligible later. 
4. The rules and regulations of CUH and/​or the funding agency will be applicable to the selected candidate.
