Similar to the earlier editions, this meeting will happen in two parts.

The first part — the Young Investigators’ Meeting (YIM) will be held between 22 February — 24 February 2027. This featured:

1. Mentor talks by scientists from India and overseas

2. Special talks on a range of topics

3. Breakout sessions on challenges faced by early career researchers

4. Scientific poster sessions by YIs and PDFs

5. Informal networking sessions
 

The second part of YIM 2027 — the Postdoctoral Fellows (PDF) Satellite Meeting will be held on 25 February and 26 February 2027 for all postdoctoral attendees and Directors/​Deans/​​Vice Chancellors/​​institutional representatives of various institutions and universities. This will feature:

1. Institutional talks by Directors/​​Vice Chancellors

2. Lightning talks by PDFs

3. Mentorship circles on navigating funding for research and administrative and infrastructural challenges in India

4. Networking sessions with institutional leaders looking to hire new faculty

5. Poster sessions by PDFs

PDF participants stayed for the entire duration of the meeting (YIM and PDF Satellite Meeting) from 22 – 26 February 2027, YI participants have to attend the first three days of the YIM from 22 – 24 February 2027.
