The following categories of researchers are eligible to apply for YIM 2022:

ii) Young Investigators (YIs)

YIs across the life sciences, who are less than 5 years into their roles as independent investigators in India are welcome to apply. 

Note: YIs can only attend the YIM component of the meeting.

ii) Postdoctoral fellows (PDFs)

Postdoctoral fellows of any nationality looking to set up an independent research lab in India are eligible to apply. Outstanding PhD students who have submitted their thesis and are planning to immediately start an independent lab in India may also apply under this category.

Note: in both categories, only 60 participants will be invited to participate in the meeting.
