Event Details

This is a hands-on workshop on teaching tools for college science and maths teachers. It will introduce participants to a way of teaching that focusses on process of science rather than rote or memorisation, and inculcates scientific thinking among students. A team from Sheffield Hallam University, UK will conduct this workshop.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional development for all undergraduate and postgraduate science teachers and a chance to network with counterparts and education experts from India and abroad. Participants will prepare their own teaching tools and review those of others. The teachers will also get an opportunity to share their own teaching innovations with peers and experts. For more information click here.

Selected participants from this workshop will get to attend a Level2 workshop where they will be trained to become trainers and help spread this tool further. We invite accomplished and motivated science teachers of undergraduate colleges across India to be part of a program, wherein their talent, expertise and experience in science education is used to train their peers in newer ways of teaching and learning.

There are no charges to the participants selected for this workshop. Traveling Allowance will be paid to selected participants.
