This workshop will focus on the fundamental aspects and recent developments in the fields of spectroscopy and to deepen the knowledge on the fundamental ideas behind the theory of spectroscopy. The workshop will be accessible for a broad audience interested in gaining an in-depth knowledge on the aspects and developments in areas of UV-visible, FT-IR, FT-IR Imaging, Raman, Mössbauer, Fluorescence, NMR, EPR, XPS, etc. The main emphasis of the workshop is on how spectroscopic techniques can help to understand material behaviour, correlating structure-property relation and eventually for elucidating the structure of existing and newly discovered materials.
Who can attend?
Bachelor and master students and PhD scholars, postdoctoral fellows, faculty and scientists from both academia and industry are encouraged to apply. The maximum number of participants is limited to 150.
Deadline for registration extended: 15th January 2019
All participants are encouraged to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodation. A limited number of free accommodation will be arranged at the institute Hostel.
