Centre for Drug Discovery and Development, Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is organising the ​“Current Trends in Marine Biotechnology from Sustainable Bioresources for the Emerging Bioeconomy” on 28 th ‑29 th November 2024. In the conference focus on Sustainable Biotechnology for the Emerging Bioeconomy outlines recent advances in bioproduct, bioenergy, biorefinery and the bioeconomy. ​‘Bioeconomy’, the use of sustainably produced biomass and the application of biotechnologies. The bioeconomy, also known as the biobased economy, involves using renewable biological resources to produce food, energy, and industrial goods. This approach leverages biotechnology and biomass to create sustainable solutions across various sectors.
