IndiBioCom 2026 – The 1st Indian Conference on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology is a premier national conference that aims to bring together researchers, clinicians, educators, industry professionals, and students working at the interface of biology, computation, and artificial intelligence. The conference will provide a vibrant platform to discuss recent advances in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, multi-omics, AI-driven healthcare, and precision medicine, while fostering scientific collaborations and networking among researchers across India and beyond.
**IndiBioCom 2026 — The 1st Indian Conference on Bioinformatics and Computational Biology** will be held from **7 – 9 September 2026** at **SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, Chennai**, with a **Pre-Conference Hands-on Workshop** on **6 September 2026**.
Supported by the **Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)** and the **Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India**, the conference aims to promote interdisciplinary research by bringing together scientists, clinicians, computational biologists, data scientists, industry experts, and students working across diverse areas of life sciences.
The scientific programme will feature keynote lectures by internationally renowned scientists, including **Padma Shri Prof. K. Thangaraj (CCMB, Hyderabad)**, **Prof. G. P. S. Raghava (IIIT-Delhi)**, along with invited talks from distinguished researchers representing leading academic institutions, research organisations, and industry. Participants will also have the opportunity to present their work through oral and poster presentations, engage in scientific discussions, and build collaborations with experts from across the country.
The **Pre-Conference Hands-on Workshop** will provide practical training in contemporary bioinformatics and computational biology approaches, enabling participants to gain experience with state-of-the-art computational tools and analytical workflows.
IndiBioCom 2026 welcomes participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students, doctoral scholars, postdoctoral researchers, faculty members, clinicians, and professionals from academia, healthcare, research institutes, and industry. The conference aims to foster knowledge exchange, encourage interdisciplinary collaborations, and strengthen the bioinformatics and computational biology ecosystem in India.
