‘In Conversation with Ignite’ is back! This event, organized by Ignite Life Science Foundation, Cactus Communications, and IndiaBioscience, is an opportunity to get up, close, and personal with renowned scientists.

In a relaxed and conversational format, the interlocutor for each session will uncover the background story of the work and life of an eminent scientist. The 3^rd conversation of this series is with Vishva Dixit, Vice President, Early Discovery Research, Physiological Chemistry at Genentech. Rams Subramanian, Founder and Board Member, Ignite Life Science Foundation, Professor, Biological Sciences and Biomedical Engineering, Purdue University will be the interlocutor for this event. In this session, the speakers will address some unique questions such as -

1. Why there are so many ways to die? Why has nature developed multiple ways to die?
2. If one is an academic scientist and wants to collaborate with an industrial research scientist — how does one do that?
3. What are the cultural differences between working in Academia and Industry?
