CRYO BIOTECH 2015: International Conference on Low Temperature Science and Biotechnological Advances

Official Website →

Event Details

Understanding how cells and tissues tolerate low temperatures in nature has accelerated scientific experimentation and enabled progress in the cryopreservation of genetic resources, particularly for use in agriculture (food security), medicine (e.g. stem cells) and conservation (protection against species extinction).

This Conference will enable scientists, researchers and students – in the public and private sectors – to review and discuss recent research and practical applications of low temperature science including cryopreservation in the biotechnology arena.

Keynote lectures will be delivered by scientific leaders from across the world, with the aim of stimulating future programmes on the cryopreservation of genetic resources of plant, animal, human, fish and microbe using diverse biological materials for the benefit of humankind.
