Hierarchical self-assembly of homologous recombination repair foci: development of a physiologically relevant model system for molecular-resolution studies

Profile

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work in the research project at the Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research, Nitte (Deemed to be University), Deralakatte, Mangaluru.

Duration

The project is for 2 years. Yearly extension is based on annual review of the performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.

Money

Rs. 31,000/- per month + 16% HRA

Qualification

Master’s degree in Biomedical Science/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Chemistry/Any branch of Life Science with at least 60% marks

Experience

Hands on experience with recombinant protein purification using bacterial and mammalian expression hosts. Experience in protein-protein interaction studies will be an added advantage.
